The Char Hope Foundation is dedicated to offering hope and healing to those suffering from the disease of addiction. Char Hope is focused on providing sober living opportunities, financial aid, supervised agricultural learning experiences, and community outreach to help educate the public about addiction awareness. The Char Hope Foundation helps adults move forward toward a full recovery, a healthier lifestyle, and a life free from addiction.
Come visit beautiful Havre de Grace, Maryland (voted one of the 50 best small towns to visit in the US) to take part in this inaugural 10K~5K~1 mile walk event on a newly certified USATF Course (MD17019NP); the only 10K USATF Certified Course in Harford County. The first 500 registrants are guaranteed an event t-shirt. All finishers will receive a commemorative coin. The first race will begin at 8:00 a.m. in Tydings Park.

Local Fire Departments are challenged to join us in full gear for the 2019 Harbor of Strength Fire Department Challenge. The department that raises the most funds will be awarded a trophy, which will be passed on each year to the company that raises the most money.
